I love you, I Love you

“I love you, I love you” began in a way that still feels a little unreal: two people in two countries, one screen, one shared cursor. Charlie wrote the words as a simple confession, then we built the sound together through a remote desktop connection, like passing a heartbeat back and forth over the internet.

You can hear that process inside the track. The verses stay close and human, almost whispered into the mic, while the synths hover like night air. Then the chorus opens up, not as an escape, but as a decision: to say the same truth again until it turns into something solid. We blended EDM-pop lift with darkwave shadow and an R&B pocket, so the song can move a dancefloor without losing its tenderness.

For us, Sunstroker and Charlie this track is a timestamp. One of the first songs we truly produced together, live, in real time, despite distance, time zones, and the fragile unpredictability of connection. It’s proof that collaboration can be intimate, even through glass and cables.

If you’ve ever loved someone you couldn’t hold, you’ll understand why the hook repeats: not because we ran out of words, but because some words are worth repeating.
