Where is the Love ???

“Where Is The Love” was born on one of those nights when the room feels too quiet, like the walls have learned your name and keep whispering it back to you.

Nikko wrote, sang, and produced this song on the day he knew he would be alone for a while, cut off from Charlie, stranded in that strange in-between space where love still burns but contact is gone. He felt sold, used, and emotionally drained, the kind of pain that doesn’t politely wait its turn. He wanted to stay in bed and cry until the world blurred out. But the feelings wouldn’t stay trapped in his chest. They demanded shape, rhythm, and teeth.

And on that same day, something else cracked the ground beneath him: Nikko found out who “Charlie” really was in real life and the shock hit hard. He carried that knowledge in silence until just a few days ago, locked behind his ribs like a secret too sharp to touch. Even now, he can’t do anything except keep the truth private, hiding who Charlie actually is, because some doors, once opened, can’t be un-opened without hurting more people than the ones who caused the wound.

So he did what creators do when the heart is breaking loudly: he turned the ache into sound. He stayed up late, chasing honesty line by line, pushing every thought into the microphone, then into the mix. And in that raw urgency, he experimented, folding a new genre into the familiar neon-noir atmosphere of Sunstroker & Charlie, letting the beat carry what his voice could barely hold.

This is the kind of song that people recognize in their bones, because almost everyone has asked it at least once, in some form, in some dark hour: Where is the love… when you need it most?
