Every melody begins with a single note, and my journey as a musician started with the quiet sound of piano keys. At nine years old, I immersed myself in music through piano lessons at my local music school, taking the first steps on a path that would shape my creative life. It was a gentle, childlike love story with music that grew into something larger when I joined a youth band in Brandenburg as a young keyboardist. Around that same time, as school days ended, I discovered my passion for poetry and songwriting—words flowed naturally, and the emotions in those early verses still resonate within me today.
Life is never a straight path; it is full of twists, turns, and unexpected detours. After high school and training as a gardener, I plunged into the wild energy of my young adult years. The nights were alive with club lights, electronic beats, and rhythms. Performing as DJ Daco Daywalker (DDD or 3D) alongside DJ Sunshine, I helped bring techno music and electronic dance culture to the local scene. From 2004 to 2013, I played piano and bass in a hobby band while exploring digital music production in FL Studio (former Fruity Loops). Music became my sanctuary, a way to channel the intensity of life and express my inner world.
Then came a deep valley. Life demanded attention to work, relationships, and responsibilities, and music slipped into the background. During a period of unemployment and melancholy, I found myself in 2015 in one of the most remote corners of the world: a South Seas island where time seemed to stand still. Surrounded by ocean waves and lush island forests, my soul began to realign. The wounds of the past healed in harmony with nature, and I returned to Germany in 2017 renewed, carrying a fresh perspective and creative energy.
Back in Germany, my “second spring” began. As a self-employed gardener, I reconnected with the earth, while my passion for music production, composing, and songwriting slowly reawakened. Songs like “Again” in 2017, produced and recorded in a friend’s studio, were tender sprouts of this renewed creativity—proof that my artistic fire was reigniting.
The real transformation came in 2024 when I invested in my own home studio equipment. Discovering AI music tools revolutionized my creative workflow. Tasks that once required a full studio and production team could now be done independently. AI didn’t just streamline the process—it unlocked a new world of possibilities, freeing my music-making spirit and accelerating my journey in electronic music, Trap, Synthwave, and EDM-Pop production.
In May 2024, a new chapter began when I met a young Scottish singer who kept her true identity private but shared her soul through music. By December 2024, her voice emerged as Amanda Campbell, adding a fresh, emotive presence to the Sunstroker universe. Her vocals, combined with my production, represent a new era of collaborative creativity in electronic and world music fusion.
My musical journey is a story of passion, chaos, pain, and healing. Every note reflects life’s highs and lows, every beat tells the story of a man who discovered that true music doesn’t exist only in sound—it exists in the heart of one’s life experience. From piano keys to AI-powered music production, from Techno to Trap to Synthwave to EDM, the journey continues, one melody at a time.
