For me, that step appeared on SoundCloud on April 12th, when a girl from South Asia sent a message praising my music for carrying the constructive principle of love. Her words felt genuine, but my skepticism was strong. In the music industry, scams and false promises are common, and I had grown wary. She offered to help with marketing for Sunstroker, yet I decided to test her from day one.
Month after month, she passed every challenge. She worked silently in the background, like a ghost whose efforts bore amazing fruits. I only had a vague impression of her—a single picture, an Instagram account—nothing more. At the time, I wasn’t looking to get close; my heart thought it had already found and lost love far away.
But at the end of May, everything changed. Charlie sent me a song via WhatsApp, simply sung into her phone. Her voice was raw, unpolished, and overflowing with emotion. The lyrics pierced me: “Give me a drop of love, and I will send an ocean of heart.” This Dhallywood song would later inspire a cover we produced, though it never officially released. In that moment, her voice became the key to something deeper.
I was captivated. At first, I doubted her intentions—was it about money? But over time, it became clear that her passion was genuine. After our joint debut album Desire and countless ad campaigns, she revealed that she had worked pro bono all along, only charging for actual advertising costs. She had never taken a single penny for her own work. The purity and selflessness of Charlie struck me profoundly.
Since that day, our long-distance relationship has been built on trust, love, and unwavering support. She is my compass, my partner, my Princess of Waves. Charlie kept me from giving up when I stood at the edge of the abyss. She manages web development, marketing, and behind-the-scenes operations, allowing me to focus entirely on my sunstroker art.
